This is the question people ask most, and Wildflower has a real answer. Open Activity, choose the Everything else tab, and read the reasons.
Every skipped setup is recorded with a reason. The reasons fall into six groups.
1. There was no setup
Nothing formed. "Price never came back to retest the level." "The M/W pattern never completed."
Most candles end here. It is not a fault.
2. One of your rules said no
A setup formed, and one of your gates turned it down. A gate is a filter block you added to your strategy. "The 5-minute trend was not aligned." "The setup went against the hourly trend." "Price kept crossing the EMA." "The spread was wider than your setting allows." "The setup scored below your threshold."
These are your rules doing their job. If the same one keeps coming up and you want fewer of them, that rule is the one to look at.
3. The account was busy or held
"A trade was already open on this account." "The broker still showed an open position." "An opposing position was open on another account." "Trading was paused." "The kill switch was on." That last one means Stop everything was on.
4. A limit had been reached
"The daily loss limit had been reached." "The daily profit target had been reached." "There had been too many losses in a row." "The day's trade count was already at its limit." "The drawdown limit had been reached."
These are your own numbers, from the account's safety settings.
5. The clock or the calendar
"The time was outside your trading hours." "That hour is switched off in your settings." "Your rest window was on." "Price was inside a news window." "The market was closed for a holiday." "The contract was rolling over." "There was not enough time left before the close."
Currency micros and micro bitcoin follow stock index holiday hours, so they may stop before their own market does.
6. The trade did not fit
"The stop was wider than your settings allow." "The position size worked out at zero contracts." "The account did not have the margin for it." "The trade could have crossed your firm's maximum-loss line." "Widening the stop left too little reward for the risk." "There was no target far enough away."
Where to read it
Every one of these answers is in Activity, on the Everything else tab, against the time it happened.
The prices behind the marks come from the computer running your agent, so open Wildflower there to see this layer in full. On a phone, the tab still has every decision in order, with the same reasons. Where your trading runs explains why.
What it will never say
It will not tell you a loss was avoided or a winning trade was missed. Nobody can know either.
