Watching your first trade end to end

What happens when the Bot places its first trade on your account: what you see, where you see it, and what you don't have to do yourself.

Updated 12 October 2026 · 2 minute read

The first trade is the one that makes it real. Here is what happens, so nothing surprises you.

What happens

  1. A setup passes every rule. Wildflower records its decision to take it.
  2. The order goes out with its protective stop and its target attached.
  3. The fill arrives. You get an order-filled notification if you switched that on. The position shows on the account page and on your Dashboard.
  4. It is at your broker too. The position is in your broker account, under your own login. Check it there any time.
  5. Wildflower manages the exit using your exit blocks.
  6. It closes. You get a trade-closed notification if you switched that on. The trade appears on the Activity page's Trades tab, with the reason it was taken.

What you do not have to do

Nothing. You do not place the stop and target, move the stop, or decide when to get out.

If you want to take over, Stop everything is on the Live page and on each account's page. It closes every open position at market, on every account, and stops new trades until you clear the stop.

Reading the fill

Your broker is the record of what happened. When your broker reports a fill, it replaces any figure Wildflower had estimated from the candle. It never works the other way round.

What can go wrong

  • The trade is at your broker but not here yet. Give it a few minutes. If it still does not show, see A trade is not appearing.
  • You feel uneasy on the first one. That is normal. If you want to be flat while you think, use Stop everything.

What's next

Stop everything, Pause and Switch off, and which one you want.
