The status page

Whether Wildflower is healthy, whether your accounts are running, and whether our alerts can reach you.

Updated 12 October 2026 · 2 minute read

The Status page answers two questions, and keeps them apart. Open it from the menu under your profile, top right.

Your view first

This part is about you: your accounts, whether our alerts can reach you, and whether the news feed your news settings depend on is working. It comes first because "is my account trading" matters more to you than how our systems are doing.

Our systems

This part shows the parts of Wildflower itself: Database, Workers and Orchestrator (the service that hands out work). It is the same for everybody.

Where the numbers come from

The page does not run its own checks. It shows the same readings our own alarms use: the test that checks alerts can be sent, the health of each news source, and when each account last checked in. So this page and our alarms always tell the same story.

Five states

  • OK: working.
  • Degraded: working, but not fully.
  • Attention: something needs looking at.
  • Not set up: this way of reaching you has not been set up, so it has not been tested. It is never shown as green.
  • Unknown: we cannot tell right now, so we do not claim it is healthy.

A pause you chose is not an error

A paused account, an account you stopped, a safety halt, or Wildflower handing an account from one running copy of itself to another each shows its own reason, not an error. Red is kept for real problems.
