Fix a problem with the Indicator

What to do when a chart file won't open, the preview doesn't draw, there are no setups, copying fails, TradingView shows errors, or paying doesn't go through.

Updated 12 October 2026 · 3 minute read

Every problem page in the Indicator says what happened and what to do next. Here is each one in one place.

Your chart file

If your file won't open, the page shows the fix, or you can use the practice chart. See Your chart file won't open for the export steps.

The preview did not draw

The page says why:

  • These candles are a different size from the ones your rules use: add the chart again on the size it names.
  • Something is still to answer: go back to your rules and answer it.
  • The preview for this kind of indicator is on its way: you can still get it ready for TradingView and check it there.
  • Something went wrong drawing your setups: choose Choose another chart and add your chart again. Each time this happens it is counted for us to look into.

No setups

If your chart has no setups, the preview shows the closest ones and the rule that stopped each. A longer chart may find some. To change what counts, choose Change a rule. On any chart, Pick a candle shows why a candle isn't a setup.

Copying the script

If your browser won't copy, choose See the code, select it all and copy it yourself. Adding it to TradingView needs the Indicator plan. If you've just paid, you see Setting up your plan while your plan reaches your account. Wait a moment, and You're subscribed shows, with Copy.

Pasting into TradingView

Choose It didn't work on the install steps.

  • Red errors: select everything in Pine Editor, delete it, and paste again.
  • Nothing shows: switch your chart to the candle size your indicator uses.
  • Too many indicators: free TradingView allows a few per chart. Remove one you don't use.
  • TradingView's phone app can't add indicators. Use a computer, or choose Email me the steps.

More in Your indicator won't add, or doesn't match.

It looks different in TradingView

Your chart file and TradingView's chart can differ slightly, in a candle's prices or where a day starts, which can move a marker. Check TradingView is on the same market, candle size and time zone as your file. If it still differs, choose Something's different and pick what you see.

Payment did not go through

Nothing is charged unless the payment page completes. If you left it, you see You left before paying. Choose Subscribe again when you're ready. If you already have a plan, change it in Settings, where you see the exact amount first. Previewing stays free either way.

If you paid and see Your payment is still being confirmed, your plan hasn't reached your account yet. If your bank asked you to approve the payment, finish that first. Then choose Check again. Checking again never charges you.

AI allowance used up

Describing an indicator uses your monthly AI allowance. When it's used, the page says so, with the plans. Choose Carry on and Wildflower asks its questions without the AI reading, so you can still finish.

Still stuck

For a file that won't read, choose Send us a sample, and we reply in Wildflower. On the install help, choose Something else, and we reply by email.
