Cancelling

How to cancel your Wildflower subscription: where the cancel button is, what happens next, when access ends, and what stays yours afterwards.

Updated 12 October 2026 · 3 minute read

Cancelling is one action in Settings. Nothing here tries to talk you out of it.

How to cancel

Open Settings and choose Cancel subscription. It opens the billing portal, where cancelling happens. Manage billing goes to the same place.

The portal asks once why you're leaving. Answering is optional, and skipping it cancels the same way. Nobody will call you.

If you have a subscription but no portal to open, email hello@wildflower.money and we will stop it. No reason needed.

What happens next

We email you a confirmation: what was cancelled, the date your access runs to, and what you keep.

You keep full access until the end of the period you've paid for. Settings shows the date. You can restart before then, and nothing is interrupted.

After that date, your paid plan ends and Wildflower switches real trading off for you:

  • Your connected accounts are switched off, so nothing trades. They stay connected.
  • You can't connect another real account or switch one on.
  • Building strategies and the free plain-English builds stay, as they are for everyone.
  • Your saved strategies stay readable.
  • Your Activity and your whole trade history stay, always.
  • If you subscribe again, everything is where you left it. Your accounts stay off until you switch them back on.

We never close positions because of billing. Switching trading off is not the same as closing a position. Anything still open keeps its stop and target at your broker.

On the day access ends, we send one email to say so, and that everything you made is still there. Thirty days later, we send one short note saying the same. Nothing comes after that. You can turn that note off in Settings, under Notifications, with Account and product emails.

Pausing instead

Want a break rather than an ending? Pause subscription sits next to Cancel in Settings. While paused, nothing is billed, trading is off, and everything stays as you left it. Pausing your subscription has the details.

If a refund is due, you don't have to ask

Cancel within 30 days of your first payment, or of a yearly renewal, and our money-back guarantee sends that payment back to your card by itself. It can be used once per person. You get an email with the amount and why, and it also shows on the Settings billing card. Refunds has the details, including the separate 14-day right in the UK and the EU.

Before you go

Take an export. Settings, then Your data, then Export my data gives you everything in one file. There is an article on how.

What can go wrong

Cancelling a yearly plan doesn't refund the rest of the year. You keep access until the year ends, just as a monthly plan keeps its month. A yearly plan gets a reminder 35 days and again 7 days before it renews, so there's always time to cancel first. A monthly plan gets one reminder a year, 35 days before the anniversary of your first payment. Each reminder is one email covering everything on your plan, extra Bot accounts included: the date, one total, how often it's charged, and a link to cancel.

What's next

Refunds.
